Dario’s Testimony

Dario was born in Rosario, Argentina, South America. After attending a private Catholic school for two years, his parents were converted to Christ from Catholicism. He then completed elementary education in a public school and graduated from High School with the title of Electro-Mechanical Technician.

In 1984, he received Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord during the invitation extended by Missionary James Strickland. In 1994, he dedicated his life to The Lord’s service at summer camp; after hearing a message on Isaiah 6 by Missionary Jesse Parnell.

Dario received theological training from Seminario Bautista Biblico del Cono Sur and Faith Baptist Bible College; plus a great amount of practical training through Christian Service (evangelism, discipleship, music, teaching, and preaching) in the local church where his father pastored for 12 years.

He met Talitha Coleman at a Baptist Youth Camp in Buenos Aires, Argentina (where she grew up as a missionary kid) and they married in 1998. Today they have 4 children: Sophia, Michelle, David, and Cynthia Chiesa. Dario worked in the secular world for Pepsi Company in Argentina and at John Deere 10 years here in the United States.

Dario and his wife are with Central Missionary Clearinghouse (a Baptist mission board—2nd largest in USA). We have been Church Planting among the over 2 million Latinos in Harris County, Texas since June 2017.
